IOT based Smart Parking System.

Me and my friend Amit Peshwani we both built together IOT based Smart Parking System prototype.This IOT based Smart Parking System prototype for people to find an empty parking slot availability in city or inside office and mall building.People’s can know an empty parking slot availability on their smartphone.so they not need to waste time for finding an empty parking slot availability in large building or area.

In today scenario when people’s go to any mall or building they waste time and fuel to find an empty parking slot so this system can help them to find an empty parking slot availability on their smartphone before entering to the building and they can save their time and fuel both.
Now i explain you How this IOT based smart parking system work.
we used Following MCU and Sensor.

The Ultrasonic Sensor is connected with cc3200 launchpad and this cc3200 is connected with wifi and send parking slot availability update to internet.Ultrasonic Distance Sensor measure distance and if any car is on over Sensor then measured distance value will go below fix value and cc3200 will be send update to internet that this parking slot is not available.if there is not any car on over sensor then measured distance value will go up fix value and cc3200 will be send update to internet that this parking slot is available.

On Backednd side we used NoSql MongoDB to store update of Parking slot availability.we store flag value 1 or 0 if parking slot is available then 1 and if not available then 0.then we create simply UI interface using HTML + Javascript for show user Parking Availability slot.
