IoT sensors are core component of any IoT device because of this IOT sensor sense environment and send sensor data to the internet. There are many different types of sensor available in the market and you can choose any sensor as your project need. A sensor generates real-time data for its devices and the user can take action based on sensor data.IOT devices generate data in second or millisecond and size of that data can be in gigabytes, Petabyte or zettabyte.

• Temperature & Humidity sensor

This is DHT11 Temperature & Humidity sensor good things of this sensor is that it can measure temperature and humidity at the same time.it can measure temperature 0 – 50 °C and humidity 20 – 90 %RH. Temperature accuracy is ±2°C and humidity accuracy is ±5％RH.DHT11 power supply is 3-5.5V DC.

• PIR Motion Sensor

This is HC-SR501 passive infrared sensor. It can detect the presence of a human being in front of a sensor. It measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view.

• Accelerometer Sensor

This is ADXL335 Accelerometer sensor it is a small, thin, low power, complete 3-axis accelerometer. It can measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion, shock, or vibration.

• Ultrasonic Sensor

This is HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance measure sensor. It can measure and detect distance 2 cm – 450 cm. An Ultrasonic sensor is a device that can measure the distance to an object by using sound waves. It measures distance by sending out a sound wave at a specific frequency and listening for that sound wave to bounce back. By recording the elapsed time between the sound wave being generated and the sound wave bouncing back, it is possible to calculate the distance between the sonar sensor and the object.

• LDR sensor

This is Light dependent resistor sensor. It is used to measure light intensity. it has (variable) resistance that changes with the light intensity that falls upon it.

• Gas Sensor

This is mq6 Gas Sensor. It can detect high sensitivity to LPG, iso-butane, propane gases and Small sensitivity to alcohol, smoke. It’s working voltage is 5v.

• Barometric Pressure/Temprature/Altitude Sensor

This is BMP180 Barometric Pressure/Temperature/Altitude Sensor.it can measure Pressure sensing range: 300-1100 hPa (9000m to -500m above sea level) and temperature-40 to +85°C operational range, with +-2°C temperature accuracy.it’s working voltage is 3 – 5v.
